Cheshire Abbey Rescue urgently appealed for community support after rescuing a group of neglected dogs found abandoned in a local neighborhood. The founder, Chrissy Cheshire, described the distressing scene of puppies locked in a cage with their mother nearby and took immediate action to bring them to veterinary care. With no local animal control and the rescue already at full capacity, the organization is now facing significant financial strain due to boarding and medical expenses.
Operating for 15 years, Cheshire Abbey Rescue warns that without immediate donations and assistance, they may be forced to close. The founder emphasized the dire situation, stating that the animals rely solely on rescues like hers and pleaded for help from the public to continue their mission.
