Lindsay Traisnel Wins Second Consecutive CCI4*-S at The Fork at Tryon

Canada’s Lindsay Traisnel secured her second consecutive CCI4*-S win at The Fork at Tryon International in North Carolina, riding Patricia Pearce’s Bacyrouge. Starting the week in eighth place after dressage, Lindsay moved steadily up the leaderboard and ultimately posted the fastest cross country time on Clayton Fredericks’ course to finish on a score of 40.4. This event served as a key preparation for the upcoming MARS Maryland 5 Star, with Lindsay focusing on refining control and pace in cross country ahead of the major competition.

Boyd Martin, competing under emotional circumstances following the recent loss of his horse Barney Rubble, had a strong showing with three horses finishing second through fourth. His rides Luke 140, Shanroe Cooley, and Miks Master C all performed well, with plans for fall competitions including the US Equestrian Open Final and a CCI5*. Martin also overtook Phillip Dutton in the series leaderboard, setting up a competitive battle for the $25,000 bonus with two East Coast qualifiers remaining. Other notable performances included Christina Henriksen moving up to fifth and Will Coleman securing sixth place, both positioning themselves well for upcoming events.
