Firefighters in Lincolnshire will be transporting Santa and his sleigh across the county to raise funds for charity, continuing a successful tradition from last year when they raised over £32,000, primarily benefiting the Fire Fighters Charity. In addition to the sleigh visits, fire stations throughout Lincolnshire will host special fundraising events to support these causes.

Cllr Alex McGonigle, the executive councillor for fire and rescue, praised the crews for their outstanding efforts last year in spreading Christmas cheer while supporting important firefighter-related charities.
