Legion Bloodstock’s Kristian Villante praised the colt’s consistent performance and potential, with plans to send him to trainer Whit Beckman after initial training at Travis Durr’s facility. Corniche’s first crop has drawn positive attention for their quality and soundness.
Meanwhile, Morplay Racing and Marquee Bloodstock purchased Hip 88, a Nyquist colt out of Argentine champion mare La Extrana Dama, for $1.2 million.
