The Lee County Fair & 4-H Show, held from July 24-27 at the Lee County Fair Association Fair Grounds in Amboy, featured a lively atmosphere filled with a variety of attractions including ear-scratching pigs, braided horses, models, and crafts. Despite challenges from rain and heat, many visitors came to admire the impressive projects showcased by 4-H members and participants in the open show.
In addition to the exhibits, the event’s grandstand activities, such as truck and tractor pulls and Saturday’s rodeo, drew enthusiastic crowds and were major highlights of the fair. Overall, the fair successfully combined agricultural displays with entertaining competitions, creating a vibrant community gathering.
