Lane’s End Farm is launching the stud careers of multiple Grade 1 winners this year, including Raging Torrent and Carl Spackler, through a partnership with international breeding entity Yulong Investments. Yulong initially acquired Southern Hemisphere breeding rights to More Than Looks, a 2024 Breeders’ Cup Mile winner, and later purchased Raging Torrent, a son of Maximus Mischief with multiple graded stakes wins, and Carl Spackler, a son of Lope de Vega with three consecutive graded stakes victories in 2024. Both stallions are noted for their athleticism, physical presence, and strong racing pedigrees, aligning with Lane’s End’s goal of producing commercially viable and successful racehorses.

The collaboration with Yulong has allowed Lane’s End to diversify its stallion roster with internationally recognized bloodlines, including the influential Into Mischief line through Raging Torrent and the European Lope de Vega line through Carl Spackler. These sires bring consistency and durability from multiple racing seasons, traits valued by Lane’s End for developing future leading sires. With strong physical attributes and proven racing records, both stallions are expected to produce attractive, marketable foals that will appeal to trainers and buyers, continuing Lane’s End’s tradition of breeding top-tier racehorses.
