The official schedule for equestrian events at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games has been confirmed, with competitions set to take place from July 14 to 29 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. The events will begin with eventing, followed by dressage, and conclude with jumping. The timetable is designed to prioritize the welfare of horses and athletes, including three rest days to allow for preparation and recovery, and to accommodate any unforeseen changes. The International Olympic Committee has confirmed that the equestrian events will maintain the same medal events and quota places as Paris 2024.
Eventing starts on July 14 with horse inspections and dressage, leading to cross-country and finals by July 18. dressage competitions run from July 18 to 24, including team and individual finals, with rest days incorporated. Jumping events begin on July 25 with team qualifiers and finals, followed by individual qualifiers and finals, concluding on July 29. The schedule remains provisional and subject to change, with the Paralympic equestrian timetable to be announced later. FEI President Ingmar De Vos expressed optimism about the preparations and the venue, anticipating outstanding Olympic equestrian events in 2028.
