In response to recent nationwide ICE raids, residents of Los Angeles, led by the Compton Cowboys, organized a peaceful “Unity Ride” protest to show solidarity with the immigrant community. Over 60 horseback riders journeyed three miles from Paramount Park to Compton City Hall, traversing neighborhoods heavily affected by immigration enforcement. The event featured speeches, prayers, and performances emphasizing the cultural diversity of Southeast LA and calling for respect and dignity for immigrants.

California State Assemblymember Mike Gipson joined the protest, which highlighted the interconnectedness of the cowboy and immigrant communities.
