After placing sixth in the initial speed round, Timm delivered two flawless rounds in the finale to secure the $125,000 national title with a time of 42.32 seconds. Originally from Calgary and now based in France, Timm praised the unique atmosphere and support of the home crowd, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Timm’s journey to success involved years of international experience and a patient, horse-first training philosophy developed alongside partners Adeline Wirth-Nègre and Édouard Coupérie. Their approach emphasizes nurturing each horse’s unique strengths, which has produced several Olympic-level performers. With this victory, Timm joins other top riders in the Royal Horse Show’s upcoming CSI5*-W international division, competing in prestigious events including the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Toronto.
