Kyle Timm made a memorable debut at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto by winning the 2025 Canadian Show Jumping Championship aboard Atomica des Sequoias Z. After placing sixth in the initial speed round, Timm delivered two flawless rounds in the finale to secure the $125,000 national title with a time of 42.32 seconds. Originally from Calgary and now based in France, Timm praised the unique atmosphere and support of the home crowd, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Timm’s journey to success involved years of international experience and a patient, horse-first training philosophy developed alongside partners Adeline Wirth-Nègre and Édouard Coupérie. Their approach emphasizes nurturing each horse’s unique strengths, which has produced several Olympic-level performers. With this victory, Timm joins other top riders in the Royal Horse Show’s upcoming CSI5*-W international division, competing in prestigious events including the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Toronto.
