The 2025 U.S. dressage Festival of Champions at HITS Chicago Lamplight Equestrian Center showcased top young talent and promising horses across multiple national championships. Claire Tucker and her Hanoverian gelding Finnur won the Adequan®/USEF Junior dressage National Championship with a standout score over 70%, while Grace Christianson earned gold in the USEF dressage Seat Medal Final (13 & Under) with a 90% score aboard FHF Roulee. In the Markel/USEF Young Horse dressage National Championship for 7-Year-Olds, Katie Duerrhammer and Rosebank VH dominated with an overall score of 82.815%, highlighted by a perfect 10 for trot, demonstrating the horse’s remarkable harmony and potential.
Other notable performances included Christopher Hickey and Saskatoon OMF securing reserve champion in the 7-Year-Old division, and Petra Warlimont winning the 6-Year-Old Preliminary Test with Deambulo PWD. The event also featured strong showings in the FEI Intermediate II Developing Grand Prix and the USEF Young Rider and Aspen Leaf Farm/USEF Pony Rider National Championships.
