Actor Karthi has expressed a deep fascination with horses, which began during his training for the film Kaashmora and was fully realized while filming Ponniyin Selvan. He described the unique thrill of connecting with a horse as it breathes and moves in sync with him. During the making of Ponniyin Selvan, Karthi also helped fellow actor Ravi Mohan (Jayam Ravi) overcome his fear of horse riding by accompanying him to morning practice sessions and providing reassurance.

Karthi recently rode a horse in the film Vaa Vaathiyaar, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. Looking ahead, he has several projects lined up, including Sardar 2 with director PS Mithran and actress Malavika Mohanan, as well as Marshal, directed by Tamizh and co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan.
