Justynne Serrette Fletcher Shines in Trinidad and Tobago’s Debut at FEI Eventing World Challenge

Trinidad and Tobago made a strong showing at the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) Eventing World Challenge held at Sandy Hill Nature Park, Freeport. Justynne Serrette Fletcher competed in the category B level for the first time, riding Cape Canaveral through dressage, show jumping, and cross-country phases. She scored 68.9% in dressage, had a flawless show jumping round, and completed cross-country with some time penalties, finishing with a respectable total of 48.1 penalties.

In the category C event, 14-year-old Jaimie Serrette Fletcher excelled aboard L’ouvre, leading from the dressage phase and ultimately winning with 41.34 penalties despite some jumping faults and time penalties. Amy Costelloe and Hailey Ali took second and third places respectively. These strong performances highlight a promising future for Trinidad and Tobago in international eventing competitions.
