The third day of the Adequan®/USEF Junior Hunter National Championship – East at the Kentucky Horse Park highlighted the 15 & under riders competing in classic and under saddle phases across multiple height divisions. Notable performances included Faith Schuttemeyer riding Paisley Park to a top score of 270.79 in the 3’6” Large Junior Hunter, with Paisley Park leading the overall standings. In the 3’6” Small Junior Hunter, Mimi Maddock on Ocean Road secured first place in the classic rounds, while Presley Wade on Leisure topped the under saddle phase and overall standings. Other winners included Lauren Blu Zarnegin on Filou’s Lady in the 3’3” Large Junior Hunter and Ashley McCaslin on Sweet Caroline in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunter.
The event featured nearly 200 trips in the Walnut Ring, showcasing young talent from across the country.
