Reinbow Riding Center, a therapeutic horsemanship nonprofit in Belmont, has appointed Julia Adams as its new full-time instructor and program director. Adams, an experienced educator and horse professional with deep Vermont roots, brings over a decade of experience in public education, 4-H leadership, and competitive horsemanship. She is an “A” carded New England 4-H Horse Show judge and actively competes with her American Quarter Horse, Billy. In her new role, Adams will leverage her expertise to enhance Reinbow’s educational and therapeutic programs.
Founded in 2008, Reinbow Riding Center aims to improve the well-being of individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges through customized equine experiences. The nonprofit offers both mounted and unmounted programs and prioritizes accessibility regardless of participants’ financial ability. Reinbow recently earned a 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid, reflecting its commitment to openness and accountability.
