The Erie County Fair is inviting equestrians and competitors to participate in the 2025 Horse Shows and Horse Pulls, featuring a variety of events suitable for all skill levels. This year’s schedule includes the Hunter Jumper Show from August 7-9, the 4-H Horse Show from August 10-12, and both Light Weight and Heavy Weight Horse Pulls on August 12 and 13, respectively, culminating with the English and Western Open Horse Show from August 14-17.
New for this year, the horse shows will be co-managed by William Yeager and Nicholas Tighe, both recognized experts in the field. Yeager runs Partridge Run Jumps and Show Services, while Tighe operates Tighe Services, LLC, focusing on course design and show management. Their leadership aims to bring fresh energy and expertise to the event.
The Erie County Agricultural Society, established in 1819, organizes the Fair to promote agricultural education and preserve New York’s historical legacy. The 185th Erie County Fair will take place from August 6-17, 2025, and participants can register online at www.ECFair.org by August 1.
