Joanie Morris has been named the new Chief Operating Officer of the Aiken Horse Park Foundation, starting January 2026. With a rich background in equestrian sports—as a rider, groom, USEF high-performance team manager, and event organizer—Joanie is well-equipped to oversee day-to-day operations at Bruce’s Field, a premier equestrian venue known for hosting the annual Grand-Prix Eventing Showcase. She has been deeply involved in the Aiken community since the late 1990s and played a key role in launching the $100,000 Grand Prix Eventing Showcase.
Joanie’s extensive experience includes over a decade at the United States Equestrian Federation, where she contributed to Olympic logistics and youth championships, as well as leadership roles at major events like the MARS Maryland 5 Star and Maryland International Horse Trials. AHPF CEO Tara Bostwick praised her operational expertise and long history with Bruce’s Field, highlighting that Joanie’s leadership will enhance the quality, consistency, and guest experience at the venue. Joanie will transition into her new role throughout 2026, bringing her organizational skills and vision to elevate one of the sport’s most beloved venues.
