The Aiken Horse Park Foundation has appointed Joanie Morris as chief operating officer starting January 2026. Morris will manage daily operations at Bruce’s Field, focusing on advancing the foundation’s strategic goals and maintaining high standards in equestrian sport and guest experience. With over 20 years of leadership in equestrian administration, Morris has a deep connection to the foundation, having competed and served as event director for the Grand Prix Eventing Showcase. Her longstanding ties to the late founder R. Bruce Duchossois and the Aiken equestrian community highlight the importance of her leadership role.

Morris’s extensive experience includes 12 years at the United States Equestrian Federation in key roles related to high-performance communications and event management, as well as senior positions in major equestrian events since 2019. Her expertise is expected to enhance the foundation’s operational systems and event quality.
