The Jefferson County Fair runs from Friday, August 8 through Sunday, August 10, with gates opening at 8 a.m. and the fair itself from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 6 p.m. on Sunday. The event features a packed schedule including 4-H and FFA animal shows such as cat vet checks, beef shows, horse shows, and llama fittings, alongside entertainment like birds of prey demonstrations, live music performances, draft horse pulls, and 4×4 mud drags.
