At the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS), side saddle specialist Jayne Ross dominated the Mears Flooring Ladies Side Saddle Horse of the Year Championship, with three of the top four placings. The championship was won by the middleweight hunter Bloomfield Greystones, ridden by Olivia Minihane. Owned by Rose Bailey, the 10-year-old grey gelding, known as Liam, has had a successful season with wins at Royal Windsor and Royal Three Counties, and will also compete in the Middleweight Show Hunter of the Year class with Rose riding.
