Marie Laity’s five-year-old Welsh gelding, Ivington Nancy Casper, had a standout debut season by winning the BSPS Heritage mountain and moorland supreme Pretty Polly mini championship at the 2025 Agria Royal International Horse Show. Casper impressed with his calm demeanor, excellent manners, and movement despite it being his first season under saddle. This final show with the Laity family was a high note as Casper has been sold and will be moving to a new home.
Reserve champion was Withymead Honey Bear, a nine-year-old roan ridden by eight-year-old Ruby Fentiman, who also won the first ridden division. Owned and trained by Ruby’s mother Kirby Fentiman, Honey Bear has progressed from lead rein classes to first ridden this year, marking a proud milestone for the family. Other notable placings included Crumpwell Finella and Elcon Lacinda, rounding out a competitive and memorable championship event.
