ITV has secured a new four-year agreement to broadcast exclusive, free-to-air UK horse racing coverage from 2027 through 2030. The deal includes 117 days of live racing across ITV1, ITV4, STV, and STV Player, all simulcast on ITVX, featuring premier events such as the Randox Grand National, Royal Ascot, the Boodles Cheltenham Festival, and the Betfred Derby. ITV4 will also air at least five races from each main fixture, complemented by the morning show The Opening Show.
Niall Sloane, ITV’s director of sport, emphasized the importance of this deal in maintaining free access to top UK horse racing events and expressed gratitude to partners including Racecourse Media Group, The Jockey Club, and Ascot Racecourse. The agreement ensures continued extensive live coverage of the sport on ITV, strengthening its long-term relationship with the UK horse racing community.
