Isabell Werth to Host Clinic in Wellington After 2025 World Cup Qualifier on DSP Quantaz

Isabell Werth, the most decorated equestrian in history with 14 Olympic medals including eight golds, will compete at the Global dressage Festival in Wellington in February 2026, riding DSP Quantaz, her 16-year-old gelding and 2025 World Cup Final reserve champion. Following the qualifier events on February 19 and 20, Werth will host a clinic at Helgstrand dressage on February 21, where she will share her expertise, potentially ride horses, and critique other riders. This event offers a rare chance for dressage enthusiasts to learn from a seven-time German Olympian with a storied career spanning over three decades.

Werth expressed excitement about returning to Wellington, recalling her first competition there 16 years ago with Satchmo and looking forward to the Adequan Global dressage Festival under sunny February skies. Currently ranked eighth in Western Europe with strong prospects to qualify for the World Cup Final in Fort Worth, Texas, Werth’s participation continues to highlight her enduring presence at the top of international dressage. The clinic and competition follow a recent masterclass held at the Global event, underscoring Wellington’s status as a premier venue for elite dressage training and competition.
