Hong Kong rider Isaac Wong made his debut at the 15th National Games dressage equestrian event, expressing excitement and satisfaction despite only recently partnering with his horse. He praised the top-class facilities at the Guangming District venue in Shenzhen, highlighting the comfortable stables and excellent arena conditions that contributed to a smooth performance. Wong is part of a full Hong Kong team of 11 riders competing across dressage, eventing, and show jumping.
Wong also reflected on the growing equestrian collaboration within the Greater Bay Area, crediting support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club and related organizations for advancing the sport both locally and on the mainland. Having lived in Shanghai for nearly 18 years, he plans to continue developing his career there while fostering cross-regional exchanges to further enhance equestrian sports in the region.
