The Irish National Stud (INS) has announced its latest intake of 26 students for the Thoroughbred Breeding Management Class, representing countries such as the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, India, France, the UK, and Ireland. This intensive six-month program offers comprehensive training in all facets of thoroughbred breeding and management, including mare and stallion care, foaling procedures, pedigree analysis, and equine welfare, preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the global thoroughbred industry.
Anne Channon, the education manager, highlighted the exceptional quality of this year’s applicants and emphasized the importance of equipping future leaders with the expertise to advance the bloodstock industry. The Class of 2026 includes students from diverse international backgrounds, reflecting the program’s global reach and commitment to fostering skilled professionals in thoroughbred breeding.
