Dale Rupert French, born August 28, 1937, in Vernon, BC, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 87. He lived a full life marked by his love for high school activities, the 4H club, animals, and helping children learn to read. Dale worked in farming, concrete finishing, and spent 21 years as a school bus driver with School District 22. Known for his spontaneous road trips and camping adventures, he was also fondly remembered for his wisdom and teaching skills, especially in parallel parking.

Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Dale is survived by his sister Shirley, three children from his first marriage, several grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He was deeply loved and will be missed by family and friends. In his memory, donations can be made to Dulcina Hospice Care in Calgary. His legacy is captured in a heartfelt poem encouraging loved ones to remember him through shared memories and love.
