Dale Rupert French, born August 28, 1937, in Vernon, BC, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 87. He lived a full life marked by his love for high school activities, 4H club, animals, and helping children learn to read. Dale worked in farming, concrete finishing, and spent 21 years as a school bus driver with School District 22. Known for his spontaneous road trips, camping adventures, and teaching skills—especially parallel parking—he was cherished by family and friends alike.

Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Dale is survived by his sister Shirley, three children from his first marriage, several grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He is remembered fondly for his wisdom and warmth, with a heartfelt message encouraging loved ones to keep his memory alive. Donations in his memory can be made to Dulcina Hospice Care in Calgary.
