Hubbard County 4-H Youth Shine at Minnesota State and Regional Competitions

Hubbard County 4-H youth actively participated in various Minnesota state and regional events, showcasing 21 individual projects and one club project at the Minnesota 4-H State Fair Livestock and General Encampments. Additionally, members competed in the state horse show, shooting sports and wildlife invitational, state 4-H dog show, and the Northeast Livestock Show, demonstrating skills developed through self-directed and mentor-guided learning experiences.

Several Hubbard County participants earned ribbons and awards across different categories, including champion and reserve champion titles in livestock, poultry, shooting sports, filmmaking, and dog show events. Notable achievements include Maxwell DeBlieck’s champion purple ribbon in small breed rabbit, Cole Johnson’s champion purple ribbon in filmmaking, and Miranda Kowalke’s grand champion in breeding bantam chickens.
