In Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, players can care for a variety of pets beyond typical farm animals, including cats, dogs, and horses. While you receive your first dog as a gift early in the summer, unlocking the ability to buy additional pets requires completing the Summer pet competition. Pets are purchased exclusively from Ramon’s stall, which opens on Saturdays after these initial requirements are met. The available breeds and colors rotate weekly, offering a range of options to customize your farm companions.

Players can own up to nine pets simultaneously—four cats, four dogs, and one horse. Horses become available for purchase mid-summer, just before the horse derby, and are sent directly to the barn. To replace a horse, players must first give their current horse to Kat at the Fuzzy Friends Shelter on a bazaar day before acquiring a new one. This system adds depth and variety to pet management within the game’s farming experience.
