Horses Run Wild During Bradenton Beach Tour Excursion

Several riders were thrown from their horses during a beach tour excursion in Bradenton Beach. The incident occurred on February 1, shortly after 11 a.m., when officers received a call about a group of horses running east on the Palma Sola Causeway. The horses were owned by Carousel Sea Horses, a local horseback riding service.

The group of riders were starting a beach ride near Manatee Avenue West when the guide’s horse became spooked, causing the other horses to become frightened. As a result, all of the riders were thrown off or had to jump from their horses. The Bradenton Police Department was able to locate the horses behind a home on Manatee Avenue West and return them to the company’s trailer.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the riders. The horses were found and gathered behind a home on Manatee Avenue West before being returned to Carousel Sea Horses. The incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of working with animals and the importance of safety precautions during horseback riding excursions.
