Horseback Riding Lessons Return to Lord Stirling Park Stable for Youth This Spring

Horseback riding lessons are resuming this spring at the stable at Lord Stirling Park in Basking Ridge, offering programs for youth aged 9 to 17. The stable, which paused its programs during the COVID-19 pandemic, has undergone a reimagining process that includes new facilities and expanded services such as pony parties, summer camps, and equine-assisted therapy. Lessons cater to both beginners and experienced riders, focusing on skill development, confidence, and emotional growth, with private and semi-private sessions available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The stable at Lord Stirling Park provides a variety of horses and ponies suited to different skill levels, with instructors dedicated to creating an enjoyable and educational experience. Registration for the lessons began on March 2, with packages priced at $400 for five private sessions and $350 for five semi-private sessions. The program aims to foster well-rounded equestrians by combining physical and mental challenges with opportunities to build bonds with horses and improve coordination.
