Horseback riding lessons are resuming this spring at the stable at Lord Stirling Park in Basking Ridge, targeting students aged 9 to 17. The stable, which paused programs during the COVID-19 pandemic, has undergone a reimagining process that includes a new horse barn, scenic trails, pony parties, summer camps, and equine-assisted therapy. Lessons cater to both beginners and experienced riders, with private and semi-private sessions available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, focusing on skill development, confidence, and personal growth.
The stable‘s team emphasizes creating an enjoyable and educational equestrian environment with a variety of horses and ponies suited to different skill levels. Registration opens March 2, with packages priced at $400 for five private sessions or $350 for five semi-private sessions. The reimagined stable aims to provide inclusive community equine services, fostering strong bonds between riders and horses while enhancing coordination and emotional control.
