A horse owned by Meiji University’s equestrian club was spotted wandering near Odakyu Line’s Ikuta Station in Tama Ward, Kawasaki, on the morning of January 5, 2026. Police were alerted around 7:30 a.m. by a passerby and monitored the horse’s movements to ensure safety.
The horse had escaped from its stable but returned to the university’s Ikuta Campus about 20 minutes later without causing any injuries or property damage. The incident was handled smoothly by the Tama police station with no further issues reported.
