The Monte San Bartolo Regional Natural Park is a beautiful area known for its Mediterranean greenery and stunning sea views, popular for walking and horseback riding. However, a 38-year-old rider was injured this morning when a branch struck her head, causing her to fall from her horse.
Rescue teams from the Pesaro Fire Department used specialized Speleo Alpino Fluviale (SAF) techniques to reach her in a difficult-to-access area 250 meters from the nearest vehicle point. She was carefully transported on a stretcher over rough terrain to an ambulance. Fortunately, her injuries are not serious, and she is expected to recover soon and hopefully return to riding in the park.
