Horse Racing Alberta (HRA) has unveiled its 2026-2028 Business Plan, presenting a strategic roadmap aimed at strengthening, modernizing, and growing Alberta’s horse racing and breeding industry over the next three years. The plan focuses on four key areas: enhancing equine welfare and participant safety, modernizing regulatory frameworks, strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring long-term economic stability for the industry.
HRA Chairperson Diana McQueen emphasized the organization’s commitment to collaboration with industry stakeholders while upholding strong governance and transparency for Albertans. This comprehensive plan reflects a forward-looking approach to address current challenges and foster sustainable growth within Alberta’s horse racing sector.
