In Charlotte, South Carolina, two men were arrested after one of their horses bolted when its rider attempted to dance on the saddle, causing the horse to flee into oncoming traffic and get hit by a car. Video captured the chaotic scene as the horse was thrown over the hood of a sedan at a busy intersection, while the riders chased after it. Fortunately, the horse appeared unharmed and remained at the scene as police arrived.

The riders became confrontational with officers and were charged with disorderly conduct. A bystander who filmed the incident expressed concern for the horse’s safety, noting the rider’s reckless behavior seemed like an ill-advised attempt to show off.
