Horse Angels Seeks New Homes for 22 Shetland Ponies and Two Older Horses Rescued in Italy

The Horse Angels Association has issued an urgent call for new homes for 22 Shetland Sheepdogs and two elderly horses recently rescued from deplorable conditions in Poggibonsi following a seizure by the Carabinieri Forestry Corps. After receiving immediate veterinary care, the animals are now under the association’s care, which is dedicated to animal rights and welfare.

The 22 ponies are trained, while the two horses are older, and Horse Angels is seeking adopters with proven horse experience and appropriate facilities. Interested individuals can apply through the association’s website, though adopters must cover any transportation costs, as the animals are currently located in central Italy.
