Hope Horses, Inc., a nonprofit therapeutic riding center in Cullman, Alabama, is currently conducting a capital campaign to fund a multiphase expansion aimed at purchasing the property it leases and growing its programs and facilities. Established 11 years ago, Hope Horses provides adaptive horseback riding lessons for children and adults with physical, cognitive, social, and emotional challenges, and is the only PATH Intl.-accredited center in north Alabama. The expansion will secure long-term stability by acquiring the land and will increase capacity by adding more horses, staff, barns, and program offerings such as camps, field trips, equine-assisted learning, and on-site physical therapy.

Currently serving about 30 riders weekly with a waiting list of over 10, Hope Horses hopes the growth will reduce wait times and better meet community demand, though high interest is expected to continue. The organization emphasizes its community-driven nature, relying on staff, volunteers, donors, and advocates to sustain and expand its impact.
