Centro Andalusi de Rescate de Caballos (ARCH Horse Rescue) in Alhaurin el Grande is offering specialised grooming workshops this spring, open to current and prospective volunteers. These hands-on sessions teach essential horse care skills, including safe grooming techniques and personal safety, supporting the charity’s mission to rehabilitate neglected and abused equines across Andalucia. The training helps volunteers understand daily routines critical for the recovery and rehoming of rescued horses, ponies, and donkeys.
The workshops are accessible with payment on the day and require early registration via email or WhatsApp. ARCH relies heavily on volunteer support, donations, and community involvement to continue its work alongside authorities like Seprona. Regular visitor days also provide opportunities to engage with the sanctuary. The upcoming grooming session is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, offering a valuable chance to contribute to giving these animals a second chance.
