Greene County 4-H Fair Showcases Mini Horse and Pony Competitions with Multiple Champions Crowned

The Greene County 4-H Fair featured a series of horse and pony shows beginning Friday with mini and regular horse events, including drill team performances and various contesting categories such as poles, flags, barrels, keyhole, speed and action, lunge, ranch, reining, and western riding. The competitions were divided by age groups for both riders and horses, with events spanning from walk/trot to senior levels. Notable participants included 10-year members Andrea Davidson and Jordyn Smith, along with drill team members like Bridgett Todd and Josie Hasler. The fair concluded on Tuesday with additional contests in halter, showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, English, and trail classes.

Winners were recognized across numerous categories, with standout champions including Lainey Strosnider, Katie Wall, Rylynne Potts, and Ellie Stevens, who earned multiple grand champion titles in disciplines such as poles, flags, barrels, halter, showmanship, and western pleasure. The event highlighted a broad range of skills and horse ages, showcasing the talents of junior to senior riders and their equine partners. Overall grand champions were crowned in walk/trot, junior-intermediate, and senior divisions, reflecting the competitive spirit and community involvement at the Greene County 4-H Fair.
