Grace Under the Oaks (GUTO) is a nonprofit organization offering adaptive riding and equine-assisted activities for individuals with cognitive or physical challenges. Recently relocated to Still Waters Farm, GUTO continues its adaptive riding program led by certified instructors, helping participants build confidence, core strength, and problem-solving skills through horseback riding. Additionally, their Grace Fosters Grace program supports foster and adoptive caregivers by using equine-assisted learning to improve communication skills and provide a supportive community, recognizing the unique challenges caregivers face.
The program features well-trained horses with distinct personalities, enhancing the experience for riders and participants. GUTO celebrated its new location with an open house and plans to expand its Grace Fosters Grace program to include first responders. The organization also hosts an annual fundraiser, The Race for Grace, a Kentucky Derby-themed event on May 2, to support its mission. More information and tickets are available on their website.
