White Rock Horse Rescue is hosting the “Giddy Up 4 Goodies” fundraiser on Saturday, November 1, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at their location on Geronimo Trail in Landers. The family-friendly event features activities such as a horse-and-rider costume contest, a free Jack-o’-Lantern carving contest with a prize of a free oil change, and opportunities for kids to ride horses and go trick-or-treating. Local vendors, including Morongo Cookie Co., Michelle’s Little Desert Bakery, Giant Rock Coffee Co., and Bowman Ranch Furniture, will participate and donate a portion of their proceeds.

Admission to the event is free, though donations are encouraged to support White Rock Horse Rescue’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in the Morongo Basin. The fundraiser aims to combine fun, education, and community outreach while raising funds to continue the rescue efforts.
