Georgetown Public Library to Host Kitten Adoption Event on August 6

The Georgetown Public Library is partnering with the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to host a kitten adoption event on August 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library located at 402 West Eighth Street. The event will begin with a half-hour meet-and-greet with the kittens at 11 a.m., followed by adoption opportunities starting at 11:30 a.m. until the event ends.

Adopters will be charged a $35 fee, which covers kittens that have been spayed or neutered and received their first round of vaccinations. Kittens will be provided with temporary carriers for transport to their new homes. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
