Geñay Vaughn and Ashley Holzer Win Top Titles at 2026 Adequan Global Dressage Festival Week 5

At the opening day of Week 5 at the 2026 Adequan Global dressage Festival in Florida, 27 combinations competed in two top-level grand prix classes under chilly, blustery conditions. U.S. rider Geñay Vaughn won the Coastal Steel Structures CDI4 Grand Prix aboard Gino, marking their first East Coast victory, while fellow American Ashley Holzer claimed the Modon CDI3 Grand Prix with a personal best score of 70.26% on San Floriana. Vaughn praised Gino’s exceptional talent and partnership, highlighting his strengths in piaffe, passage, and changes, while Holzer credited San Floriana’s calm demeanor to the training by previous owners Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin.

The CDI4 class saw U.S. women dominate the top four positions, with Devon Kane and Katherine Bateson Chandler placing second and third, respectively. Holzer, a four-time Olympian, emphasized the importance of teamwork and overcoming challenges in her ongoing partnership with San Floriana. dressage competition at AGDF 5 will continue with additional classes and high-level events, including the CDI4 Grand Prix Special and Freestyle, with live streaming available for fans.
