Geary County 4-H Students Earn Awards at Kansas State Fair

Geary County 4-H students showcased their talents at the Kansas State Fair, earning several notable awards. Brittney Dibben placed 6th in the senior photography judging contest, while Kinley McCallum received an honorable mention in the constructed fashion revue. Grant Slough excelled in multiple horse-related categories, securing 1st place in intermediate high point horse ranch classes, 2nd place in horse performance classes, and 5th place in horse timed events.

Additionally, the county’s photography judging teams performed well, with the Intermediate Photography Judging Team placing 6th and the Senior Photography Judging Team achieving 4th place. These accomplishments highlight the diverse skills and dedication of Geary County 4-H participants.
