Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded to a house fire on the second floor of a home in the 7700 block of Prince Hall Ct., Gaithersburg. Firefighters quickly advanced hose lines, conducted primary searches, and rescued four of the six dogs inside, all occupants escaped without injury. The fire was extinguished, and the cause is still under investigation.
Assistant Chief David Pazos emphasized the importance of working smoke alarms and practiced escape plans for safety. MCFRS reminded residents to evacuate immediately during a fire and not to re-enter the building.
