GAIT Launches New Seven-Week Therapeutic Riding Session Starting March 2

GAIT in Milford, PA, is launching a new seven-week therapeutic riding session starting March 2, designed to offer participants a positive and supportive environment to connect with horses and foster personal growth. The program, led by a PATH International-certified instructor and trained volunteers, provides 30-minute weekly lessons that teach basic horseback riding skills while delivering therapeutic benefits such as improved physical balance, posture, motor function, and enhanced cognitive and social abilities.

GAIT’s mission is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special needs through equine activities, promoting greater independence. New participants must complete an application before starting, with returning riders required to renew forms annually. Interested individuals can register or learn more by visiting gaittrc.org, calling 570-409-1140, or emailing [email protected]. The center is located at 314 Foster Hill Road.
