Klaravich Stables’ Fully Subscribed, trained by Chad Brown, secured her second graded stakes victory by winning the $200,000 Comely Stakes (G3) at Aqueduct Racetrack on December 7. The daughter of Tiz the Law dominated the 1 1/8 mile race, winning by four lengths over multiple graded stakes winner Quietside. Ridden by Flavien Prat, Fully Subscribed broke sharply, pressured the pace, and surged home with a final time of 1:50.55. The filly, bred by Payson Stud and purchased for $300,000 as a 2-year-old, was coming off a win in the Mother Goose Stakes (G2) and was sent off as the 1-2 favorite.
In another stakes race, Main Line Racing stable and Avalon Racing Stables’ Hold Your Breath earned her first stakes win in the $150,000 Garland of Roses Stakes, defeating race favorite With the Angels by two lengths. The McKinzie filly, trained by John Servis and ridden by Joel Rosario, led throughout the 6-furlong race with fast fractions and finished in 1:09.76. Bred in Kentucky and purchased for $135,000 at the 2023 Keeneland January Sale, Hold Your Breath showed strong speed and determination to hold off challengers and secure the victory.
