Corinne Richards, a Park City native and interior designer turned ceramic artist, has combined her passion for animals and art at her Woodland property, where she cares for rescued mustangs and runs COWDOG STUDIO. Inspired by her surroundings and her love of dogs and horses, Richards creates bold ceramics while supporting Rescue Ranchito, a mustang rescue organization. She fosters horses on her land, helps with their care and training, and contributes her design skills to the rescue’s branding and fundraising efforts, donating a portion of her studio sales to support the cause.
Rescue Ranchito, founded by sisters Erin and Casey Brown, focuses on saving mustangs from auctions and kill buyers, providing a sanctuary for these symbols of wild freedom. With the rescue recently relocating to Colorado for more space, Richards continues to support their mission through her art and advocacy. Their collaboration highlights the unique intersection of creativity and animal rescue, raising awareness and funds to protect mustangs from the harsh realities of roundups and slaughter.
