The 2025 FEI Eventing European Championships for Young Riders and Juniors in Strzegom, Poland, showcased the dominance of the French teams, who secured gold medals in both categories through strong performances, particularly in the jumping phases. In the Junior competition, France led with a final score of 91.2, well ahead of Belgium and Spain, while in the Young Rider category, France overcame a fluctuating leaderboard to clinch gold with 121 penalties, followed closely by Ireland and Great Britain. Individual golds were claimed by Ella Howard (Juniors) and Hannah Busch (Young Riders), both delivering exceptional jumping rounds on their horses.

The event highlighted the challenging courses designed by Marcin Konarski, rewarding bold and precise riding. The French teams’ success was attributed to consistent performances across dressage, cross-country, and jumping phases, with notable contributions from riders like Matis Cogniet and Verane Nicaud. The championships also marked a rare podium appearance for Spain in Juniors and underscored the competitive spirit and emotional triumphs of young riders, many of whom expressed pride and gratitude for their horses, teams, and support networks.
