Former NFL Player Brian Westbrook Partners with Prince George’s County Sheriff for Unique Summer Youth Camp Featuring Horsemanship and Outdoor Activities

A unique summer camp in Prince George’s County, Maryland, is offering children an opportunity to engage with nature and try new activities, including horseback riding, hiking, painting farm equipment, and water balloon games. The camp is held at former NFL player Brian Westbrook’s farm in Upper Marlboro and is run in partnership with the County Sheriff’s Department. Kids like 9-year-old Andrew Bennett and 13-year-old Azaria Donald are enjoying their first experiences with horses, overcoming fears and discovering the fun of outdoor activities.

Brian Westbrook emphasizes the camp’s value in getting children off screens and into nature, providing a healthy and educational environment. The week-long camp started recently, with two additional sessions planned for August, aiming to give more kids the chance to learn horsemanship and enjoy the outdoors.
